Hello Loves, My name is Maniyah and I just started my self-love & wholistic wellness lifestyle blog.
this wellness blog is about tapping into a healthy, creative, and abundant lifestyle for yourself.
Let’s talk more about it!!
Writing has always been something that just came naturally to me. I never thought too much when writing; I just wrote what came to my mind and could always flow with it.
So I decided to use it to my greatest ability. And here we are
I started this blog to show other young people how to shift their perspective on what a wholistic wellness lifestyle truly means and how we can all achieve that for ourselves. I also wanted to help others understand the deep importance of self-love and why this is the foundation of a healthy life.
We all deserve to be our authentic creative selves with no doubts that we can do great things
Unfortunately, our society has set up the exact opposite for us. We are so worried about fitting into everyone else’s version of how we should act, how we should speak, and what we should look like.
It’s time to go against this objective and start making the necessary changes in this world to see how we truly should be living.
My goal is for us to all understand that there is no competition in this world, there is no need to try to fit into something, no need to run the money or status race
Once we see and understand we are all human beings with our own uniqueness, creativity, and desires; So much abundance, prosperity, and creative unity will be produced because we will see that we also need each other to truly start making changes within our lives.
I want to help the younger generation (such as myself) see their true potential by prioritizing wellness lifestyle habits, Creative habits, self-love & self-care habits, and being authentically YOU.
This is what You Owe U is all about. Showing yourself that you are worth all that you desire in life. Revealing to yourself that all blockages can be removed for you to become the best possible version of yourself. It’s about claiming that authentic power you already have within yourself and releasing all limitations you have put upon yourself
If you have read this far, I truly want you to know and remember that YOU are capable of making amazing things happen in your life.
I am not just saying this for quick inspiration, I am being truthful as I possibly can.
Once we learn to remove the blockages and limitations that we have put upon ourselves from our different experiences in life, we will be able to achieve all that we desire out of self-love, wellness, mindset, and creativity.
My story
If you have read from my story page(give link), you know I went a little into my past and just how we got here. Well I’m going to tell you a little bit about it as well
In middle and high school I battled with lots of low self-esteem and trying to figure out how to be my authentic self without worrying about caring about other opinions of what I wore, how my hair was styled, what my skin looked like etc etc etc (I stressed about anything and everything that had to do with me exposing myself to the world)
This led me to keep to myself throughout the rest of my school years and just wait till the day I graduated so I could get out of there
I know anyone else can say they wanted to hurry up and graduate as well. Well my reasonings had everything to do with my self-image and how I felt about myself
Inspirational quotes and different DIY projects became something I invested my time into on the weekends, I had so much fun with them that I started creating my own quotes and wrote them all over my mirror. it became hard to see myself when I was trying on a new outfit lol
I explored so many different DIY’s on Pinterest that I started creating gifts for my family and practiced making my own recipes. Weekends became my time to indulge in inspiration and new things I wanted to create.
After a few years had passed, I felt like I became disconnected from my creative self and became more focused on how I was going to make money.
I started having my depression and anxiety come back. I felt so lost and wanted to just scream. I felt myself going in circles. There were so many different things I wanted to do or try in life but this fear kept coming back and restricted me from entering my creative and abundant self.
Well, let’s fast forward after this little story. I finally told myself NO. I finally put a boundary against myself that I will no longer stop myself from stepping into my creativity, from loving my authentic self, and keep myself from creating a wholistic lifestyle that aligns with me.
Nobody has time for that Boo lol!
My self-critical thoughts often come back to me but I have found out that come when I’m not moving in my full element. Low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety are the effects of us doing and experiencing things that are not in alignment with who we authentically are and represent. This is why I believe living a creative wellness lifestyle is what we need to defeat all of our mental, physical, and spiritual struggles.
And well here I am now writing this story as I’m reminding myself that we will keep going no matter what because this is not about perfection, trends, competition, or money.
This is about making a difference, making a change, making a shift in perspective, and helping us all understand how valuable we truly are in this world.
My plan for this blog (You Owe U) is to create content through my journey that deeply reflects creating a wholistic wellness lifestyle that aligns with every one of us. + other big things in the future 😉
I will also be tapping into my DIY creativity to create natural skin care, hair care, food creations, and natural home essentials for those who love to create natural products.
Within the next few months, I hope to have grown an elevated community who want to create a wholistic wellness lifestyle for themselves and grow authentic relationships as well
**This blog will be the foundation for me to build a more expanded wellness business in the future and hopefully help so many other women elevate their lives as well with more hands-on work
